1. The sentence that best shows Semrau's point is, "Of the three, I prefer to focus on reuse."
2. I believe that the intent of the article is to show how Semrau "goes green" with his own body. Waldemar does not want to retire after supposedly retiring after his General Motors and from Dow Chemical Company. Semrau wants to continue to reuse his body and work forever. He goes on to discuss about how the chairman of Cascade Engineering told him about the three stages of one's professional life. Semrau, who is now 75, has surpassed all three of these stages and now is not sure what to do. This shows that Waldemar wants to figure a way to reuse himself for the sake of the community. Semrau "reuses" his self by fulfilling a childhood dream of going to medical school at Harvard Medical School and becoming a surgeon. He believes that he will be accepted regardless of his age. Semrau believes in a fortune cookie that said, "you will be involved in many humanitarian projects."

Rev. Borghardt Sermon vs Edwards' Sermon
1.) 23 times: makes holy, smiling, slain(3), is, took, died(3), makes, was slain, lives(2), reigns, rose, put
2.) The themes of Edwards' sermon and Rev. Borghardt's sermon are very different. Edwards' sermon speaks of our condemnation. He says how we deserve to die and go to hell. The sermon mostly talks about how we are all sinners because he tries to convert them using fear, but points out a few times that Christ will save us. Borghardt's sermon on the other hand is the complete opposite. He talks about Christ doing good to save us. He used positive ideas to convert people to the faith. Also, he speaks about Christ's second coming. It is very positive, unlike Edwards'.

What is hanging from your rear-view mirror?
In this article it discusses whether or not to ban the law on hanging dangling items from your rear-view mirror. There are so many people that hang "dangleys" from their mirror that it shouldn't be illegal. People that have been pulled over and ticketed for a separate reason, haven't gotten in trouble for their mirror accessories. Some people thought it was only illegal to have things hung in their rear-view mirror if it was distracting.
"I call it a 'gotcha' law. It's an excuse to pull someone over." This is the best quote because quite honestly, it is very true. In this economy police still have to make their quota of tickets and this is just another excuse for a ridiculous ticket. Policemen could make their quota in one day if they really set out to do it.
I disagree with this ban. I don't really see how a dangling item like an air freshener really blocks your view, considering your mirror is not dead center of your windshield. This is just another pointless law trying to get the peoples' money in the harsh economy.

Mitch Albom Response
Mitch Albom's point is to show that the statement of Soledad O'Brien about race being a factor in the public criticism was unnecessary. I have to agree to with Mitch Albom because i don't think it was necessary for a news reporter to bring up the racial factor in this situation. Basketball is a predominately African American sport. Race isn't much of a benefactor in this sport. Mitch's most effective point comes in when he talks about LeBron's egotism. According to Mitch, "ego knows no color." When LeBron doesn't give a complete answer on television and says "I'm gonna take my talents to South Beach" -- suggesting that it was 1) more about his talent than anything and 2) time to get set for a party, because South Beach is not where the Heat plays, but it is open all night," it shows a perfect example of LeBron's ego and this is Mitch's most effective point.
